Our pharmaceutical group
Notre groupe pharmaceutique SIGMA-TAU increases its activity on the rare diseases field. It has signed an agreement to buy the specialty pharmaceutical business of Enzon (4 drugs) for about 327 million dollars. Enzon will also receive royalties of 5 to 10% on incremental net sales above a 2009 baseline amount from Enzon's four marketed specialty pharmaceutical products through 2014.
